Biltmore Crossing

This historic two story 1923 rectangular brick building, former home of Biltmore Hardware, and located in Biltmore Village was transformed into offices above and restaurant space below.  Modern utilities and attention to historical detail won this project a Griffin Award for best commercial renovation.

Over the years this building has been transformed many times. In 2004, the flooding of Biltmore Village required a complete upfit of the downstairs. The result was Rezaz, a popular Mediterranean restaurant. Later the downstairs was upfit again for Andaaz, an Indian restaurant. The upstairs has gone largely unchanged, and retains it’s historic appearance.

Now, in 2024 we are forced to restore the space again after the historical flooding of Helene. The building will be transformed into another commercial space… with the purpose still to be determined.
